You cannot make a revolution with silk gloves. ~ Josep Stalin
My name is Syd. I am bisexual and I also have no set religion. I have
study different religions and found that no religion suits me best.
Being that I am bisexual I get odd looks from people and my family
does find it odd and shuns me most of the time. (More to come with
time...)

In a couple of days I'm going to be 16 so I'm looking back now on how
my life has been. There is only one way to describe it, rollercoaster.
My friends are absolutely awesome and I couldn't ask for anyone else
to be around but them. Yet, amidst all the amazing and suporting
friends there are periods of time when I still think on dark things. I
will not go into too much detail what some of these things are. But,
one major thing which constantly creeps into my mind is death. I
realize this is something that is inevitable for all. I just can't
help but think that we die because it is what is accepted. I almost
wish that everyone would not be so willing to accept death as our fate
and that the world be peaceful. However, this is just my silly ideal
of a world which will not come about in my lifetime. War, hatred,
destruction, this is the cycle which we live in now and it is a cycle
which could be stopped were it not for man. Human beings have polluted
the earth near irreversibly. A favorite saying of mine is, "if
something bugs you destroy it." Perhaps the world would become a great
place if all of humanity was pushed into extinction. Again this is
just another ideal. I understand that many innocents would die in the
creation of a human free world, but then there would be no extreme
pollution to destroy the planet or any insane humans to go around
killing each other just because of their diseased minds. Or perhaps we
could go back to being animalistic. Our inner urges would propel us,
instead of some mindset that we are better than other animals. The
truth my loves is that we are no better than animals. In actuality we
are worse than animals. Animals do not create gasses which blind each
other and torment survivors. They cannot create and modify weapons to
kill each other. They rely on their basic instincts to survive. This
is not the way of humans, we are supposedly more complex but I see
nothing complex about beings that kill when they are not threatened or
in need of food.
