Alright, so I saw [Akami's newest oekaki](http://kupika.com/oekaki.php?id=g4f29f1e71cbc5t7yd0p) and it reminded me of a
neat story of the camaraderie of Pokemon even today and in the future.
I was taking an intro to sculpture class at CSU Stanislaus the semester before I got my BA and on the first day the
teacher tosses a handful of clay to everyone and says "we're all going to make the same thing and compare strategies to
molding the clay." So we all made a turtle, then we all made a reptile, then the teacher asked "Okay, what else should
we make?" and one college student says "Idk about you guys but I'm making a squirtle" and we all burst into
conversation about what pokemon was best. Apparently we had all played it/watched it while we were kids. It was pretty
awesome. (mine won. I made the most bomb magikarp. Haters gonna hate.)
So that day I realized that no matter how old our generation gets, we will all still remember Pokemon and have some
fondness for it. One of those common threads for a whole generation of people.
So what's YOUR pokemon camaraderie story?
