It can be quite frustrating, especially when people start condemning you for not
believing in certain things, or should I say, for EXPRESSING disbelief in certain
things.
I don't think holy books prove anything either >__< I would like something solid!

I'd just like to add that I attended a Catholic school from pre primary (before
grade 1, different names everywhere I guess) up until year 10. We didn't have RE
(Religious Education) in PP, but from Grade 1 up til Grade 10 we did. 4 a week. So..
how many lessons have I had? And yes, they DID force the religion on me. You don't
see that because you're obviously a good little girl and actually follow the
religion, Sophie. If you speak up and refuse though, they don't like it. I tried to
start practicing Buddhism but the school denied me that right because it would look
bad for their Catholic image. I got accepted into that high school after I swore at
the principal to ensure I did not attend; I didn't want to go, but I was made
to. My nana forced me to have an interview there, and she used to force me to come to
Church with her too. She spitefully tells me she'll pray for my sins and that I'll be
a 'better person' (which in her words means a religious person...) in future.

I have never been a religious person, and frankly, I take offense to what
you're saying, Sophie, no matter how many months ago your comment was written.
I think I have a right to believe what I want without the religious schmoose jumping
on me for not following all the codes and morals of a religion I don't follow.
Respect goes both ways; if the religious people don't earn it, they don't deserve it.
Go preach this to them, not us. And read the entry again, it wasn't disrespectful,
you're just overly sensitive with religion. So please, gtfo the internet where
you obviously cannot handle that millions of opinions are freely spoken, and that
there are some you may not agree with.
