contest:

"My Nightmare"

The rain falls harder,
Faster,
Louder than before.

The room gets darker,
Quieter,
Lonelier than before.

The house is emptier,
Scarier,
Stranger than before.

Sounds like a nightmare,
It’s not,
It’s my life.

Save me from this terrible,
Horrible dream.

This is my nightmare,
No one else’s.

I have to live it,
Not anyone else.

Save me from my nightmare.
