on July 10, 1990. My middle name
Heart came from my Mother,
Hime Heart, and my last name
Suijen came from my Father, Kenji
Suijen. When I was about 5, I haven't seen them since they went on a
trip with Mickey to this one world..
When coming home from the park, I found a letter on the door step
with the King's seal on it..
Dear Kairi,
I'm sorry to inform you this, but...your parents were devoured by the
darkness. I tried to save them! I was too late. Kairi, listen, you're
gonna face the same thing sometime in the future because you're one
of the chosen Princesses. There are Seven Maidens who have the Purest
of all Hearts. Be brave and don't worry, you'll have the
Keyblader right by your side to protect you. He's the chosen Wielder
of the Key, he holds the most powerful weapon of all. By the way, I'm
also a friend of your Grandma, I assigned her to be your Official
Gaurdian. So have faith, Little one. Remember, you're one of the
Seven Princesses of Heart.

I was scared but I had to be brave! When I grew closer to my
Grandmother, I had forgotten what Mickey had said to me. When I was
about 6, I woke up on the shore of Destiny Island, I was found by a
boy that was about my age, he helped me up and introduced himself,
his name was Sora. Later, he went calling for his friend who was
named Riku and introduced me to him.
Sora quote:
Riku, this is Kairi. I found her washed up at
shore. She says she doesn't know how she got here.
That made Riku think if there was another world out there.
Until, I was 14, I didn't know that my friend Sora was the chosen
Wielder. That made me remember the letter, it gave me a shock, I
paddled my boat back to the main island and ran home, taking out the
letter from my drower, it was true. Even though I didn't know it, I
had this feeling that it was him and everything started to go strange
lately. We were building a raft on this one beautiful day with my
friends Sora and Riku to set sail to other worlds. I try hiding my
curious face with a smile and laughter. Hearing mysterious voices
calling out my name from the cave, I suddenly knew that the strange
door in the secret cave was a keyhole! It was sorta creepy, but I had
to have faith, just what Mickey had said to me. On the other hand, it
was only the beginning of our journey, which was really exciting. I'm
quite adventurous, I should say? On that day for departure, our island
was being swallowed by Darkness, I didn't know exactly what to do. I
dashed to the secret cave and felt this wierd feeling, a cold breeze
ran through my veins, an unexpected headache; like I was losing
myself, getting my heart taken away. Sora came in just in time, but
the keyhole suddenly in surprise just opened up. The force of the
keyhole opening up pushed me away, vanishing in front of Sora. I
guess.. my heart entered him in safety, as something called
Sanctuary.

A year later, I stand by the crashing waves, watching for Riku and
this other boy that I had forgotten. I couldn't imagine what he
looked like back then. It has been a really long time. I looked down
at the ground and whispered.
Where'd you go?
A day later, I was walking along the sidewalk all the way home from
Destiny Islands High. I heard someone call my name from behind. I
turned around and saw it was my dear friend Selphie. She asked if I
ever wanted to go back to the island; our childhood playground. I
never wanted to until I remember all about that someone. His name.
His face. His voice.. They all disappeared from my treasured
memories. Two minutes later, I had this headache, I spoke to someone
in my mind. It felt like a dream. Was I sleeping? It felt so real. I
asked him what those boys' names were. Riku.. I didn't know the other
one. He was shocked that I forgot his name. So, he gave me a hint. His
name starts with an
S. After I just remembered his name, I fell
to the ground and passed out for a very short time. I woke up and
found Selphie helping me up and brushing the dirt off my school
uniform. I smiled at her and ran towards the shore facing the island.
I took out a bottle from my bag containing a letter.
Thinking of you, wherever you are
We pray for our sorrows to end and hope for our hearts to blend
Now I will step forward to realize this wish
And who knows:
Starting a new journey may not be so hard
Or maybe it has already begun
There are many worlds
But the share the same sky --

I wrote it before the day of letting it go out in the ocean for
him. Searching. That letter I wrote to him is the letter that
takes him back home. His name is Sora. I couldn't believe it. I just
remembered his name. All I need back is his voice.. and his face to
remember forever. I waited long enough for him to come back home
safely with Riku. I decided to find the two of them all by myself. I
walked towards shore. I didn't know what to just right now. Finally,
someone named Axel appeared in front of me, he said we were already
friends. He didn't sound too nice. He only wanted to kidnap me and
lure in Sora. I had no choice. There was no where to run. If I did,
he'd attack me for sure. A dog ran into the scene and barked at me, I
think he wanted me to follow him. He didn't look like al dogs I've
seen. Oh, his name was Pluto! The King's trustful companion! I
followed him into this black portal that. When we were in there, all
I saw was nothing. A light emerged and widened. I ran there and came
out from a wall with Pluto in this strange alley that I didn't even
recognize. There I met some people who seemed nice. Their names were
Hayner, Pence, and Olette. I explained everything to them of how I
got here. My memories. Being confronted by someone I barrely knew.
From the beginning of what had started this. And again, Axel showed
up and captured me. When he got to this world that was called
The
World That Never Was, he was caught by Saiix. Saiix put me in a
cell in the dungeons all the way in the lower part of their H.G's.
There was nothing I could do. I couldn't break the bars. I almost
cried. But Pluto came to me and cheered me up. I stood up straight
and ran to the cell bars and saw Saiix. He didn't do anything.
Suddenly, a portal on the other part of the cell opened, a girl
dressed in white who was named Namine came out and reached out her
hand. I didn't know if I could trust her. But it was the only way to
escape. I walked up to her and took her hand.
We came running down the corridors, holding eachother's hand and were
again stopped by Saiix. He almost caught me again because this
mysterious stranger who seemed to be Riku saved us. I felt it was him
before Namine could even say his name. He had the same keyblade he had
used on our previous battle. I slowly walked up to him and gently
removed his black hood that was hiding his face. He didn't look like
Riku but it sounded like him. I just knew it, I believed. We ran all
around each corridor to find Sora. I was so excited to see him. I
wanted to see him more than anything. Nothing can break my interest
to see him! We finally found Sora. I saw Sora fighting heartless
below. I called out his name. For a minute there, Sora got
disttracted by me and was thrown to the ground by the heartless. I
gasped. I wouldn't let anything happent o him. I had to fight. Even
though I'm not much of a fighter, I just had to! He's my best friend!
I stepped and ran, jumping over the balcony onto the other floor. As I
got there, I was surrounded by heartless. They piled up on me. I
thought it was the end. End of the whole world. Sora couldn't do
anything. Neither could I. Riku came in and helped me, he offered me
a keyblade that I could use.
This time...I'LL fight!
I dashed toward the heartless with Riku. Hitting everyone of them
that could've touched me. I finished off the last of them and turned
around, seeing Sora. He was all right! We walked up to eachother.
Once I told him how I came here, he apologized. He quickly ran up to
him to hug him, I was so happy. Riku walked away, he was so ashamed
of what he had become in the past. Sora tried to stop him. I helped
too. He still had his old friends right by his side. The three of us
were united but not completely. The battle wasn't over yet.

After Sora and Riku had defeated Xemnas on the first try, we had
nowhere to go now. It was a dead end. The place was shuffling. Namine
appeared and opened a portal to Destiny Island. The King, Pluto,
Donald, and Goofy told us to hurry and ran into the portal. Few
seconds later, we met our other halfs who were actually our Nobodies.
Namine was my nobody. Sora had one who was named Roxas. We untied with
our Nobodies and became whole. I slowly walked towards the portal,
once I entered, the portal closed. I called out their names.
Sora! Riku!
It seemed like Xemnas wasn't done yet. I was already at Destiny
Island. I was relying on Sora and Riku to defeat Xemnas once and for
all. I prayed for their safety. I suddenly remembered my Thalassa
Shell Lucky Charm that I let him borrow for a safe journey. I always
hoped it would work. An hour of waiting has passed, I sat and waited
patiently with Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and The King at the dock. I
heard a burst from the sky, I wanted to check it out. I stood up and
walked towards the ocean. I saw two blue lights falling from the sky.
Could it be them? Did they get my letter? The two blue lights crashed
into the ocean. Two boys emerged from the water, gasping for breath.
They looked around. It couldn't be. It was Sora and Riku! I called
out and waved at them.
Sora and Riku swam up to shore with smiles on their faces. Now, we
were all untied. Sora handed back my lucky charm, I took his hand
with a slight smile.
You're home.
Later that day, I strolled around the shore, and spotted something
shiney. I took it and saw the King's seal on the letter. I smiled and
ran to where Sora and Riku were hanging, by the slanted poapu tree. I
gave sora the bottle. I wondered what it says. It must be something
important. Sora took the letter out, me and Riku stood by him and
read. It was something about the Chasers. This was gonna be another
exciting journey ahead of us. We must catch up.
