Exactly. My parents want me to be the perfect, classic Korean lady. Which
includes being polite, smiling, acting innocent, and dressing in pretty
clothes.
That means no ripped up jeans, large hoodies, or tight clothes.

| |
Yeah, some people should realize that you can make yourself look pretty in
clothes that aren't exactly formal...

I know! When I see this really cool outfit or whatever, my mom or dad would
shake their heads and say, nooo, because it's totally different from whatever
they are imagining me to be.
In my dad's case, a good girl with an angelic personality.
I want to go shopping at Hot Topic for once! Or get those striped sleeves! And
colorful knee-high socks!
I LIKE THE ROCKER-PUNK STYLE BECAUSE IT MAKES MY EYES SPARKLE!!!! WHAAAA!!!
-sobs pathetically- TT^TT
Someday when I am 18 and go off to college, I will come back with a totally
different image. I VOW IT! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

>< YOU GO, GIRL!
My parents aren't that strict, but they just want me to look - and act - more
feminine.
Which really sucks, 'cause I'm kind of crazy. :D
|
 |
Psh, hypocrites. My mom does that all the time.
"Oh geez, why can't you wear your hair like that girl over there? You'd look so
much prettier"
"Come one! Why be like that when you can act like that one?"
"Oh look at that girl, she's so pretty! Why don't you dress like that?"
It infuriates me. BECAUSE I AM NOT "THAT" GIRL I AM MEEEEE
|
| |
I totally understand. TT3TT
They need to understand that WE'RE DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND LIKE OUR OWN THINGS.
|
 |
....You got the highest mark? ...So your classmates got under 56%?
Wow.
|
| |
No, I got highest in my English exam, not math. ^^
One of my friends got 32% in their maths one, which makes me feel better about
my mark, and some other chick got 45%, but my parents keeps on saying that I
can't compare myself to other people, when she's always comparing me to my
cousins or sister. D:

I LIKE THE MEAT MORE THOUGH 8D
|

YARZ, THE MEAT'S MORE TASTY, 'COURSE.
