For Science I have to research a scientist and do a report on them. I chose to do my report on a guy named Ernst Mayr.
Here is a little bit of information about him...


He had a 80 year career and died at the age of 100 after an illness.

He was born on July 5, 1904, in Kempten, Germany and he earned a medical degree from the University of Greifswald in
1925. He broke off his medical career and turned his attention to zoology, earning a Ph.D. from the University of
Berlin just 16 months later.

In 1927 he spent 2 1/2 years studying birds with Lord Rothschild in New Guinea.

He authored and/or co-authored over 20 books.
