I'm Mavis. I may be eighty-two, but I have all the get up and go of a
seventy-six year-old! I was in the WI in the Second World War and we
helped all the dear evacuated children out into the countryside for
their own safety. I had my husband killed in the War along with my
ninteen-year-old son in the Battle of the Somme. My own father was
killed in 1915 in the Great War. Our family name is well-respected in
the rolling hills of Hertfordshire.
I have created this account in the hope of finding a husband. You may
find me rather slow at replying to your marriage proposals as I am not
really up to this new-fangled technology. I wear silk pajama's and am
prepared to wear a Nancy Regent slip for sexual activities.
I do enjoy a nice cup of tea in the afternoons and am still an active
member of the WI. I am trying out a new recipe later for a Victoria
