Straight Into the Sunrise

Something I thought up because I'll probably be going to Caladesi Island rated #1 beach 2008 The weekend of July 4. We've been to Fort DeSoto beach #1 2005 about 5 times so we wanted to go to a new beach. To get to Caladesi Island we need to take a ferry on Honeymoon Island. All the while I'll be dreaming... ------------ "Straight Into the Sunrise" On a bright summers day on Caladesi beach, A young lady walks down to the beach. Dressed in a white dress with cherry blossoms flowers, She carries with her a hammock. Finding two palms trees near each other, She stops and sets up the hammock. Tired from lifes challenges, She lies down to rest. Lulled by the sound of the crashing waves, Warmed by the afternoon sun, And rocked by the hammock, She dozes off into sleep. Hours pass by and the sun sets to reveal the night sky. A man begins to walk to the shore, But stops when he sees her. He gets closer to see her holding a straw hat in her left hand while sound asleep. Without disturbing her slumber, He leans in to see her face. His feet give under the soft sand and he falls into the hammock. The hammock sways side to side, As the straw hat glides down to the sand below. The swaying brings them closer together, Until she eventually turns to lie face to face with him. Happy to find her still sleeping, He tries to leave, But is stopped when she grabs onto his shirt. When he looks at her and finds himself captivated by something other than her hand, He decides to give up escaping. Hours go by as he stares at her, Unwilling to look away at someone so beautiful. All the while, thinking of her in every aspect, And wanting to know her entirely. Unable to bear his thoughts any longer, he decides to wake her. Still in a daze, she begins to open her eyes, While hearing someone whispering to her, Hey, wake up sleepy head. Eyes fully opened now, she becomes startled to find him by her side. She moves away with a jolt, only to cause the hammock to flip. Her fall is cushioned by the mans body. She gets up and pick up her straw hat. As he sits up she leans over to lend a hand. She begins to apologize, but is stopped by a kiss on the cheek. She blushes while he whispers to her, I should be the one to apologize. I couldnt resist the temptation to gaze upon your beauty. She tries to hide her face under the straw hat, As her light skin reddens to red rose hue. Without asking, he takes her hand and says, Walk with me. I want to talk with you. Uncertain, she begins to walk with him along the shore. He begins to explain to her what happened, And after some time, her shyness disappears. Walking on the night shores, they talk and splash the incoming water like they were still kids. Hours pass by like minutes as they laugh and play. Eventually the sun begins to rise. He stops while she continues to splash. The mood suddenly changes and he gets near her. He takes her hand and says, please forgive me for being selfish. He moves in closer and kisses her in the sunrise. She closes her eyes and accepts him fully. Her straw hat is blown off by the light winds and lands on the sparkling waves. Waking up, she begins to squint at the intensity of the sunrise. She looks around to find herself lying on the hammock. Yawning after a long slumber, she begins to remember her dream. She looks down to find her straw hat drenched in water. She picks it up and hugs it tightly. Thinking out loud and pouting she says, Its not fair, I too can be selfish. She gets up and walks along the shore, All the while remembering the dream that continued straight into the sunrise.....
