It makes me so angry sexism is not recognized in the world when it effects us everyday.Here are some things (I will add
more later.) that if you thought women and men were equal will suprise you.

Beauty products diet adverts ect are generally aimed at women.The message given is that women must spend time on their
apperance to be 'acceptable' to society.

Music videos with women wearing revealing clothing and female singers and actors wearing revealing clothing - I bet you
can't think of many music videos (Ecpecially rap and hip-hop.) where there is no scantily clad women.

Men using sexist terms like 'love' and 'sweetheart'.

Its ok to be a 'tomboy' because you are wanting to be a man , and men are superiour to women but its not ok to be a
tranvestite because you want to be a women , and they are inferiour to men.

Mens magazines portray images of naked women as there just for the mens enjoyment.

Women who sleep around are called 'sluts' but men who sleep around are praised.

Women are portrayed as 'desperate for a man' and obsessed with mariage and children.

In general women are payed much less than men and are put in positions of lesser power.

Men are portrayed as heroes less than men in tv ,films ect.
